Take a closer look at the @gatesheadlibraries centenary collection. Working with members of the public and staff to create a collection that resonates with the public was the aim of this project. Co-Design is as much about listening as it is about designing. Giving people the space and time to contribute their thoughts and feelings about a place that is dear to them. I have been blown away by the response to the collection and I was there on the launch day (7th of March) and the library was buzzing with activity. They had 1700 visitors on the day and the team at the library did a phenomenal job of planning and delivering all of their activities. You can purchase the collection at the library while stocks last. Pop along and check out the collection and the displays that celebrate this landmark moment for Gateshead Library. #publicengagement #socialimpact #CoDesign #creativity #artproject
Get a glimpse into Nathalia Lessa’s interest in archives and her semester project! In the third semester of the NoVA programme, students can choose one of three paths: Internship, Visual Project or Theoretical Project. Nathalia chose a theoretical project, during which she collaborated with Demos Helsinki. The outcome is the paper “Between memory institutions and social contract theories. Archives as cultural sites for inquiring to social contracts”. About the Author: Nathalia Lessa (she/her) is a Brazilian art historian and educator whose work explores critical archival and heritage studies and textile practices. #NMNoVA #AaltoUniversity #AalborgUniversity #StudentLife #StudentProjects

One year ago, Innovation at the Back of the Bus was released, inviting us to rethink what innovation looks like within the social services with Sagesse as a case example. This book centers on our organizational experience, includes an unhealthy amount of hashtags (#So2014), some vulnerable stories and a whole lot of humour and humility. One year later, we think most of it still stands (although maybe we would have included more about AI (the good, the bad, the unknown). Thank you to everyone who has read, dived deep and stepped into their vulnerability alongside us 💜 If you are interested in learning more, the book is available for purchase online through our website, sagesse.org. #InnovationAtTheBackOfTheBus #CommunityLed #SystemsChange #OneYearLater #HowManyHashtagsIsTooMany
It's Week 9, and many of our students took a well-deserved mid-morning break to enjoy a doughnut on us - and try out our innovative Lego printing press! This @bristolcommonpress initiative brings together centuries-old resources with modern technology to make printing techniques hands-on and accessible for all! Students were also invited to drop off suggestions for how the School of Humanities might be made even more inclusive! #WeAreTheHumanities #WeAreBristol #BristolUniHums #bristoluni
“Where do you belong when you carry more than one culture?” At @creativemorning event with @thehague_cm (theme: Local), we talked about how bicultural identities can become a powerful creative space where our cultures meet, mix, and inspire something new. Loved sharing this conversation with fellow psychologists and creatives. Here’s a moment from the Q&A 🌱 Would you like to receive the full talk? Thanks to @lesterdavidav (eres amazing!🫂) for the video and @caroleking for the beautiful lyrics.✨️ and @dehaagsehogeschool & @cmd_denhaag for hosting. #Belonging #BiculturalLife #CreativeCommunity #Migration #CreativeMornings TheHague
Yesterday I held two workshops at the University of Stavanger on innovation, creativity, and engagement at work. It was such a meaningful experience, and I was so happy to see how much the students engaged in the process. We had thoughtful and inspiring conversations about how organisations can help employees stay creative, take initiative, and contribute to innovation, while also staying connected to their personal values and moving beyond their comfort zone. What always touches me most is that, once again, I got to see the true selves of people. Their unique sides, their reflections, and little glimpses of their stories start to come through. That is one of the things I value most in these workshops, creating space where people can show up a little more as themselves.
📚 Digital publication: ‘The Borderless Shelf: Re-imagining a Library Space’ Last summer, @te.editions’ residency as @asymmetryartorg Librarians-in-Residence unfolded across New York City and London, travelling farther than we had imagined. ‘The Borderless Shelf: Re-imagining a Library Space’ is a digital publication that documents these encounters and continues to hold and circulate the ideas, conversations, and practices that emerged during, and beyond, the programmes we organised together. The publication features te editions’ conversations with reading rooms and bookshops, reflections on the Drifting Backpack initiative, and a commissioned essay by our Curatorial Fellow Sharon X. Liu @sharonxyza. Sharon’s text investigates the Chinese literati Tian Han’s studies and social life during the Taishō period in Tokyo, tracing a once-existing transnational cosmopolitanism and asking: how might we imagine, and create new connections and solidarities in the present moment? By sharing this publication, we hope to encourage reading as a communal event, and the library as a porous site that moves between the singular and transmission, allowing conversations to continue, as reading is about us all. 📖 Read the publication via link in bio👆 Designed by @fleurbleueeeee
The Book That Listens. Innovation and Youth Yearbook 2025. For Fundación Cotec @fundacioncotec In 2025, Fundación Cotec published its Yearbook on Youth and Innovation, presented to the country’s main institutions. The project is built around a simple concept: listening before speaking. The book becomes an object that listens, both visually and physically, through a nationwide participatory action in which young people from across Spain share their concerns, later incorporated into the book in the form of ballots. In this way, the project breaks with the traditional one-way nature of the book and opens a space for dialogue between generations. — Creative Concept @alvarogarciaruano @gekadeka @elenayuuste @_kaosmotica @_jonenkoadernoa @olimpia2209 Design @alvarogarciaruano @gekadeka @elenayuuste Video @alvarogarciaruano 3D Motion @orrrrico Production @grafficainfo — Want to share your work with our community? Ad | Becoming an @adobe Ambassador feels like one of the most meaningful full-circle moments of my creative life. I picked up these tools at the very beginning of my journey — they shaped how I see, how I create, how I think. And now, to be welcomed into this family as an ambassador? This is a mark of the new chapter. 😍 The energy, the presentations, the workshops, the conversations — the kind of day that goes by in a blink because every single moment is alive. So inspired to be in the room with other brilliant talented creators. This is what it feels like when you’re exactly where you’re supposed to be. A huge thank you to wonderful @katecommunity and the entire Adobe team and fellow ambassadors for creating something so thoughtful, so warm, so full of creativity and for the stay at the @thehoxtonhotel .You made us feel truly celebrated — and that means more than words. This chapter is just beginning. ✨ Can’t wait to share more with you and dive deeper and continue to grow next level with @adobeuk 🤩 The intro background credit goes to @wearecreativeuk who created the brilliant Photobooth backgrounds and a fantastic introduction to @adobefirefly 🔥 #adobefireflyambassadors #adobeexpressambassadors #adobeambassadorlondonsummit #ad #aiartist
