✅Day 2: Trek to Jagat (1340m).
✅Day 3: Trek to Deng (1860m).
✅Day 4: Trek to Namrung (2630m).
✅Day 5: Trek to Sama Gaun (3520m)
✅Day 6: Acclimatization day in Sama Gaun. You can hike to Manaslu base camp & visit Birendra Lake.
✅Day 7: Trek to Samdo (3860m).
✅Day 8: Trek to Dharmasaala / Larke Phedi (4460m).
✅Day 9: Cross Larkya La Pass (5160m) and descend to Bimthang (3750m).
✅Day 10: Trek to Tilche (2300m).
✅Day 11: Drive from Tilche to Besisahar, and then on to Kathmandu.

High in the Himalayan mountains, there is a place where time slows down and happiness is found not in having more, but in needing less 🇳🇵🏔️📿
📍I was lucky enough to spend two days at Serang Monastery, a Tibetan Buddhist monastery located at over 3,000 meters high in the mountains of the Manaslu region. Here, I woke up early for sunrise, drank more ginger tea than I could count and watched the monks go about their daily routines. There was no rush, only the sound of chanting, prayer flags slowly moving with the wind and stunning mountains all around. Life here felt so simple, yet everyone I encountered seemed genuinely happy, despite having so little.
It was a quiet reminder that happiness isn’t found in what we own, but in how we live and what we value.

Views from Manaslu Base Camp !
The mountain is getting ready… and so are our team.
Our Manaslu Autumn 2026 Expedition team is currently in rotation mode; some members have pushed up to Camp 3, while others have completed their acclimatization rotation up to Camp 2 and are now back at Manaslu Base Camp, resting, recovering, and preparing for what comes next.
With the summit route now fixed and officially open, the mountain is entering its most anticipated phase. The ropes are in place, the acclimatization is progressing, and now we wait for that precious summit weather window.
In the Himalayas, patience is part of the climb. The summit isn’t going anywhere — but choosing the right weather window makes all the difference.
For now: recover, refuel, check the forecast, and keep the crampons ready.
