It’s hard to believe that basic knowledge of the Constitution isn’t a clear requirement for becoming a federal judge.
During a Senate Judiciary Committee hearing, Sen. Chris Coons (D-DE) questioned judicial nominee John Marck about whether a president could legally seek a third term under the 22nd Amendment. Marck appeared unfamiliar with the amendment and struggled to give a clear answer when pressed on its meaning.
When Coons directly asked whether President Trump could run again in 2028, Marck still avoided a firm yes or no, saying he would need to review the issue further.
At a moment when Trump is publicly pressuring allies to suggest he could serve again, the Constitution is not ambiguous: Trump is not eligible to run for a third term in 2028.

No fue precisamente un mensaje de apoyo; al contrario, fue una crítica mordaz y directa tanto hacia la producción como hacia Marc Anthony.
Willie Colón calificó la película como una “atrocidad” y un golpe bajo para el legado de Héctor Lavoe. Según él, la cinta se centró casi exclusivamente en las drogas y la decadencia, ignorando el genio musical y el sentido del humor que definían al “Cantante de los Cantantes”.
Willie fue muy duro con Marc Anthony, llamándolo “oportunista”. Afirmó que el salsero solo quiso “ponerse la manta de Lavoe” para beneficiarse de su imagen y que, musicalmente, lo que hizo Marc fue un “karaoke”, imitando sílaba por sílaba las grabaciones originales en lugar de aportar algo nuevo.
El Maestro aseguró que la película solo tenía un 10% o 15% de verdad y que el resto era inventado. Criticó especialmente:
La importancia excesiva dada a Puchi (esposa de Héctor) en la toma de decisiones musicales.
Escenas irreales, como ver a Puchi bailando en el estudio o en la tarima durante las grabaciones.
El enfoque en el “glamour de Hollywood” por encima de la realidad cruda de la calle y la salsa de Nueva York.
Marck Anthony y Jenifer López “No entendieron o no respetaron la verdadera importancia que tiene la música alrededor del mundo... solo promovieron el lado negativo de nuestra cultura.”
