Infuse the flavors of Japan into your steak night with @cabagges.world’s elevated Steak Mazeman recipe, featuring Mizkan Ramen Broth Concentrate. 🍜 Ingredients (2 servings): Mizkan Ramen Broth Concentrate 2 servings of ramen noodles 1 steak (cut of your choice, we used ribeye) 1 egg Greens of your choice (we used Choi sum) Canned bamboo shoots Steak Sauce Ingredients: 1 Tbsp Sugar 2 Tbsp shoyu 2 Tbsp mirin 3 Tbsp sake 2 Tbsp lemon juice 1 Tbsp gochujang Instructions: 1️⃣ Start by prepping your toppings 2️⃣ Soft boil an egg for 6.5 min then chill in cold water 3️⃣ Simmer bamboo shoots in a mixture of Mizkan broth base and 1 Tbsp of sugar for about 10 mins. Set aside. 4️⃣ Quickly blanch Choi sum for 30 sec. 5️⃣ Now cook your steak until preferred doneness. In the same pan, mix together sauce ingredients over high heat until thickened. 6️⃣ Next cook your ramen noodles according to package instructions. 7️⃣ Finally, plate by adding 2 Tbsp of the Mizkan Ramen Broth Concentrate to the bottom of a bowl and dilute with 1 Tbsp of water. Next, add your noodles, then all your toppings, then your steak. Drizzle the steak sauce over your steak and garnish with sesame seeds. Mix the whole bowl together to coat the noodles and enjoy!

I’m sure someone has thought of this already, but I made like a mapo tofu mazeman sort of thing. Mapo tofu made with pork and garleek, served over homemade noodles dressed with a bit of mushroom shoyu tare, an onsen Tamago, and lots of scallions. Worked really well, except the soft tofu kept crumbling when I tried to pick it up with chopsticks
