Healthy hair isn’t luck… it’s a ROUTINE 👀✨
Everyone wants longer, fuller, shinier hair—but then rushes the one thing that actually gets you there👇
🧴 HOW YOU WASH MATTERS
If your scalp isn’t clean, your hair can’t thrive.
Double cleanse = first wash breaks down buildup, second wash actually cleans your scalp.
Healthy growth starts at the ROOT.
🧪 INGREDIENTS MATTER
Not all products are created equal.
Some just coat your hair… others actually nourish it.
What you use consistently will either feed your hair or fight it.
💧 PRE-WASH MATTERS
This is the step most people skip 😮💨
Oils + treatments before you wash help loosen buildup, hydrate your scalp, and protect your strands.
Think of it as prepping your hair for success.
✨ POST-WASH MATTERS
What you do AFTER determines how your hair looks every single day.
Protect it. Hydrate it. Style it SMART.
Volume at the roots, moisture at the ends = everything.
The truth?
It’s not one miracle product—it’s how everything works TOGETHER 🔥
When your routine is right:
✔️ less breakage
✔️ better growth
✔️ healthier scalp
✔️ hair that actually looks GOOD without trying
Stop guessing… start being intentional with your routine 💁♀️

I learned this one the hard way🤦♀️…
We talk about all the things…
double cleansing, ditching sulfates, scalp care, all of it.
But no one talks about your brush.
If your hair feels oily right after washing,
it might not be your hair at all…
It could be your brush just putting oil, product, and buildup right back onto clean hair.
So if your wash days aren’t lasting like they should…
this is your sign to check (and clean) your brush

✂️🎓REHAB RULE # 1
WASH DAY
It depends on hair type:
Oily hair: every 1–2 days
Normal hair: every 2–3 days
Dry/curly hair: every 3–7 days
Benefits:
Removes oils, sweat, dust, pollution, and dead skin cells.
Prevents scalp problems such as dandruff, itchiness, and bacteria or yeast build up.
USE YOUR PRODUCTS
Always leave in conditioner for extra moisture, detangling, and heat protectant.
Scalp drops for scalp health and hair growth.
Oil/serums for a smooth/shiny finish
Mousse and volumizers are optional for more texture and volume.
BLOWDRY!!!!!!
Your hair is the most fragile when it is wet. To avoid breaking blowdry and smooth it out. This will not only help styles last longer but will leave you with less split ends and a healthy scalp.
Repeat your wash days and never go to sleep with your hair wet!!!!
Have you ever washed your hair…
and it still feels heavy?
Like something is sitting on it,
even though it’s clean?
Sometimes it’s not damage.
It’s not your technique.
It’s just that the product was never made for your hair type.
Formulas designed for thick hair can feel nourishing for some…
but for fine strands, they can quietly weigh everything down.
The shift is softer than you think.
Lighter textures.
Gentler formulas.
Letting your hair feel like itself again.
Have you ever noticed this with your hair?
Most people think making your hair last longer is about piling on dry shampoo…
but the truth is it actually starts on wash day.
If your hair gets greasy fast, it’s usually because of one of these things:
• the scalp wasn’t cleansed properly
• products were layered too heavily
• dry shampoo keeps getting reapplied
• or we’re styling it with heat every single day
My goal isn’t to force my hair to last forever.
It’s just to set it up well enough on day one so I’m not constantly fighting it.
That usually means:
• double cleansing the scalp
• choosing the right shampoo + conditioner
• setting the style while the hair is fresh
• and keeping products simple
Then I leave it alone.
No daily heat styling.
No five different products.
No layering dry shampoo every day.
Sometimes I wash on day 2.
Sometimes I push to day 3.
Occasionally longer.
The goal isn’t a specific number of days — it’s giving your scalp a break and letting your hair work with you instead of against you.
Healthy hair routines are usually simpler than people think.
What day do you usually make it to before washing?
Hair question… and there’s no judgement here 😜… it’s just a little market research…
How often do you actually wash your hair? 🚿
1 - Every day
2 - Every 2–3 days
3 - Once a week
4 - When it starts looking questionable
Will send one person who comments some shampoo and conditioner ✨🙏🏻🙌

Washing with cold water only can make hair look shiny in the moment, but it doesn’t properly cleanse your scalp. Warm water helps lift oil and buildup so your shampoo can actually do its job.
Washing your hair every day can strip away the natural oils your scalp needs. When that happens, your scalp often produces even more oil to compensate.
Brushing from the roots down can cause unnecessary breakage. Always start at the ends and gently work your way up to detangle without damaging your hair.
Skipping conditioner because your hair feels “oily” can leave your ends dry and prone to splitting. Conditioner belongs on your mid-lengths and ends where your hair actually needs moisture.
Going to bed with wet hair might seem harmless, but wet hair is more fragile and prone to breakage. Tossing and turning while it’s wet can lead to tangles and damage overnight.
Healthy hair really comes down to simple habits done consistently.
5 hair habits that could be working against you.
Sometimes it’s not the products… it’s the habits.
1. Shampooing your ends
Your scalp is where oil and buildup live. Shampooing the ends over and over can dry them out and lead to breakage. Focus shampoo on the scalp and let the suds rinse through the lengths.
2. Air-drying after every wash
Constant air drying can leave the cuticle slightly rough and the hair more prone to tangling and breakage. A gentle blowdry with heat protectant can actually help smooth and seal the hair.
3. Hair or scalp “training”
Your scalp doesn’t learn to produce less oil. When oil, sweat, and product buildup sit too long, it can clog follicles and trigger irritation. Instead, use a proper cleansing routine and incorporate a detox or clarifying shampoo when needed.
4. Touching your hair too often
Running your fingers through your hair transfers oil from your hands onto the roots and can make hair look greasy faster.
5. Skipping clarifying washes
Even the best products leave residue over time. A clarifying shampoo helps reset the scalp so your regular products can actually work.
Let me know which one of these habits you have 🙊

These days are a lot easier now and to think I was so hesitant 🤔 why?
This is for the ones who don’t think this will work for them… 👇
I was you.
I thought my hair was “too oily,” “too dry,” “too difficult” to skip a daily wash… so I stayed stuck in the same cycle.
But here’s what actually changed everything ⬇️
It’s not about washing more… it’s about understanding your hair.
✨ Your scalp produces oil based on how you treat it
✨ Over-washing can trigger MORE oil + imbalance
✨ Your ends need hydration — not constant stripping
So instead of restarting every day, I learned how to RESET my hair.
And that’s why this works for everyone — because it’s not one routine… it’s a customized approach.
Different hair types, same foundation:
Stop over-washing, start supporting your scalp, and give your hair what it actually needs.
If you’ve been telling yourself “that won’t work for me”… this is your sign to try it anyway 💛

3 signs your hair routine might not be working…
Your hair still feels dry even after styling
Your scalp gets oily quickly
You’re noticing more breakage than usual
A good routine should support both your scalp and your ends — not just one or the other.
If your routine isn’t giving you the results you want, it might be time to switch things up.
