It's been a few weeks since I got my brows #microbladed back Piret aka the @eyebrowdoctor and as always, I am always thrilled with what she does. I don't have great brows to begin with, but she manages to make me feel a bit more put together and finished. For those not in NYC, she also has locations in Miami and LA.

Common Myths about #Microblading: (Found some old photos of when I used to get microbladed in Korea!) 1. You cannot get #botox if you get #microbladed. This is False! 👍It is ok to get your regular #botoxinjections before getting microbladed but I recommend waiting until the Botox results are fully kicked in (at least 10-14 days after injections). 2. You cannot get #lasertreatments with #microbladedbrows. This is False! 👍You can get #lasers including #resurfacinglasers after microblading but you SHOULD avoid treating over the brows. 3. Microblading is risk-free. Again, false! 👍Microblading comes with possible risk of infection, allergic reactions, scarring, granulomas and sarcoidosis. 4. Microblading is easy to remove. False! 👍Microblading may fade with time but can be difficult to remove completely. #Lasertreatment has been used to reduce the #tattoo pigment but requires multiple treatments and results can be variable. One thing I’ve heard repeatedly from people who’ve gone through chemo is they wished they had microbladed their eyebrows, as it was more jarring for them to lose than their actual hair. Microblading update! It’s been a year and a half since I got my eyebrows microbladed by @eyebrowdoctor and they’re still holding strong! It’s been a huge timesaver since I do still fill in a little with a brow pencil but it takes about 20 seconds and a few strokes now. Any brow questions?

#ad I DID IT! I finally braved the microblade! I have toyed with the idea of microblading for YEARS now, I had seen people with faded brows, brows that didn’t suit them or that were a ‘trend’ and now weren’t, so I had the fear of God in me about doing something however semi-permanent to my visage…. However! I decided now was the time to try it, I have seen micrblabding come soooo far in the last few years, and I know it can be removed if need be - so I went for it! I am very grateful to Delia for inviting me to London to have treatment with her, the entire process was seamless, she knows what she is doing and we talked through what I wanted to achieve. I already have eyebrows (a lot of clients have no hairs at all or very little) so I wanted to just enhance the natural brow, and avoid the laminated look that I favour - because I feel that will go out of style soon! I wanted them to look natural with hair strokes, so we opted for the microblading strokes technique instead of Ombrè - that way the strokes will look like my own eyebrow hairs. I was in the best hands, she explained the process, popped some numbing cream on (I know lots of you are nervous about the pain but it just feels like you are being drawn on!) it doesn’t hurt at all, and even after I felt no pain at all! Thankyou so much @delia.microblading for your incredibly skilled work, my eyebrows look gorgeously fluffy and thicker now - I am over the moon! 🌙 ✨ If you are considering microblading treatment, get in touch with @delia.microblading - make a weekend of it and enjoy your new brows!
