literal chills the fact that this chapel has been standing for nearly 600 years actually blows our tiny little minds - it’s been there longer than Henry the 8th, Shakespeare, countless wars and even the Plague - it sat empty for 300 years when it was restored to its former glory you can feel the history and weight of the past as soon as you walk in the doors the paintings on the wall were originally created in the medieval times but were covered and whitewashed but they have been restored in the 20th century! how lucky are we to marvel at these now #peakdistrict #History #medieval #medievaltiktok

Well, I hope this is enjoyable to somebody. I did order some medieval clothes but they were delayed in transit, due to the fact that I entered my own delivery address wrong. But when they arrive…. trust me, you will KNOW. For how its actually done, check out the video by Saltus Gladii on YT, “Saltarello hopping medieval dance.” from October 29, 2019. That’s the video I learned off of, and you can hear the same music in the background. Please check them out!! And as promised, tagging @hottesthistorian . I dont know if shes made a video about noble women practicing dancing, but she is a great source for information about nobility of Medieval England. #History #medieval #dance
