Tips to be better at mini painting 👨‍🎨 #4 FOLLOW FOR MORE TIPS. ——- More info ——- 1️⃣: smaller brushes can counter intuitively make it harder to paint models, smaller brushes have smaller ‘wells’ and can therefore hold less paint, this means the paint dries quicker. Overall making it harder to paint. Although it does have a fine tip that tip will be ruined faster than a medium brush with the same fine tip. 2️⃣: contrasting colors can actually deepen highlights. For example when painting a blue cape, adding some watered down purple/ red in the recesses will make the blue of the cape pop more and make the shadows seem darker in comparison. This is commonly used when painting nmm too. 3️⃣: Edge highlights are a essential tool used to paint models. A non-edge highlighted model tends to seem uncoordinated and sloppy when shown next to a model with even a little edge highlighting done. Edge highlights are used to help distinguish areas of the model from each other and help to simplify the shape of the model to the eye. 4️⃣: Always make your bases using a contrasting color or a complimentary color. Never use super vibrant colors or seemingly random colors on your base as this can distract the eye from the main focus, the model. ——- #warhammer #warhammer40k #warhammercommunity #warhammerfantasy #warhammerpainting #warhammer30k #warhammer40000 #minipainting #minipaintings #minipaint #minipainter @warhammerofficial #freehand #ageofsigmar #reels #fypシ #trending

Another exciting little project from the @dm.stash collection. Absolutely love this piece and after a little prep work with a few speed paints I wanted to start with the water effects. I’ve tried water once before and although I think it looks decent Im always happy to hear any suggestions 😊 #minipainting #miniaturepainting #minipaint #tabletopminiatures #minipaintingcommunity #tabletopgames #dndminiatures #dnd #minifigure #fantasy #fantasyminiatures #ttrpg #dndreels #art #painting #dmstash #thearmypainter #speedpaint

😥 Not all memories are my favorite but I’ll definitely never forget them and they most definitely had major impact on my life. We were out to sea in Tonga diving with whales when a Portuguese man o’ war wrapped its poisonous tentacles around my face and neck. I’ve never felt anything like it. Immediate burning and stinging making me feel like I couldn’t breath even swim back to the boat.. 😰
