How much do you know about the "Minute Man," one of the symbols of the Montana National Guard? 🧐 The Minute Man, also known as the "embattled farmer," is something you've probably seen in literature and on the uniforms of our Guardsmen. By sculptor Daniel French, the statue is set near the spot in Massachusettes where the first colonial militia men were killed in 1775. Inscribed on the front of the pedestal is the first stanza of the poem "The Concord Hymn" by Ralph Waldo Emerson.
