There are copies of the paperback of The Martian Contingency which are missing page 311 through 326 and instead have chapter 49 through 52 of @kathrynpurdie's novel THE DEATHLY GRIMM.
Her novel came out yesterday, please wish her a happy book birthday! Hopefully, none of my book is inside hers.
What we think happened is that they did a test batch as they were switching over from one book to another and accidentally shipped them. If this happened to you, you can take it back to the bookstore and they will give you a new one.
If you got it at an event and I signed it, let me know, and I will connect you with my publisher. We have a plan in place for you to be able to get a new signed copy.
Or you can keep it as a weird collector's item!
