my feeling is what happens when you stack multiple disco records into one groove and it still feels effortless. in 1999, italian producer @realjuniorjack , real name vito lucente, was transitioning out of eurodance and fully into house music. this was one of the first records where he locked into that funky, disco-driven sound that would define his career.  instead of building from scratch, he pulled from multiple sources. the track is driven by elements from Cherrelle and Alexander O’Neal’s 1985 song “saturday love,” layered with grooves from Sister Sledge records like “one more time” and “thinking of you.”  that combination is the trick. instead of one loop, it feels like a collage of disco moments stitched together into a tight house rhythm. smooth, bouncy, and instantly recognizable. when “my feeling” dropped in 1999, it broke into the uk top 40 and started circulating heavily in clubs. it was slightly more commercial than the underground french touch records, but still carried that same dna.  what makes the track hit is how natural it feels. nothing sounds forced. the groove just rolls forward, and every element feels like it belongs there, even though it comes from different records. this was early proof of a formula junior jack would keep refining.
