Most people overlook these easy waterfalls in New Hampshire’s Monadnock Region. 1. Gleason Falls, Hillsborough NH A wide, powerful drop flowing under a stone bridge before splitting around rock and continuing downstream. 2. Tucker Brook Falls, Milford NH A 12-foot cascade that fans out over layered rock into a small gorge you can walk right down into. 3. Garwin Falls, Wilton NH Tucked into a small ravine, this multi-tiered drop is calmer—but one you can stand almost right in front of. All three are easy to reach and worth the stop, especially in spring when the water is moving. 📍 Monadnock Region, New Hampshire 👉 Save this for a spring waterfall trip and share it with someone you’d explore these with. Which one are you checking out first? #NewHampshire #NewHampshireOutdoors #WaterfallsofNewEngland #ChasingWaterfalls #ExploreNewEngland Here’s What to Know: - Gleason Falls is a powerful, wide 10-foot drop that takes maybe two minutes to reach. Plot directions to “Gleason Falls Stone Bridge’ on Beard Road, park at dirt pull offs (both sides) and walk a few paces following the sound of the water. - At Tucker Brook Town Forest, the 12-foot Tucker Brook Falls cascade fans out wide over layered rock before dropping into a small gorge you can stand right up against. Park at the trailhead for the Ridge Trail on Savage Road (“Tucker Brook Trail Parking”) and follow the white blazes for a little over 1/3 mile. - Garwin Falls is a beautiful 40-foot cascade swerving over multiple tiers in side-by-side flows. Reach it by parking by the Sand Hill Road Reservoir on Sand Hill Road and walking a block’s distance back going into the forest on your left (you’ll see it) and hike for about 10 minutes until reaching the ravine. - No porta potties. - Your dog on leash is welcome at all three. - Wear proper footwear for some bumpy sections and navigating down into rocky gorges or ravines (no bouldering or scrambles). ✅ Hit that follow button for more New England exploring, iconic sites and hidden 💎
