Because now I’m annoyed and angry 🙄
🦛 Cool fact: In ‘Moomin,’ the classic Japanese-produced animated series was based on Tove Jansson’s original Finnish books, and the animators worked to preserve her distinctive soft, rounded character designs while adapting them into a style suited for television, helping introduce the Moomins to a massive international audience well beyond Scandinavia.
‘Moomin’ (1990–1991) is available to stream on Tubi.

What if feeling scared is actually the first sign of being brave? ☄️
In Comet in Moominland, the ground trembles and the horizon glows ominously, yet the Moomins manage to stay curious, kind, and (mostly) hopeful. With the help of each other, well-timed songs and a lot of pancakes, they realise that fear doesn't have to stop you from moving forward. 💫
This year, you will get to know Tove Jansson's Comet in Moominland from many different perspectives, starting off with an animation by @karllikesotto. 🤩 Head to the 🔗 in bio to watch the full animation!
We're braver together. 🤍

The Moomins have appeared in both television shows and movies. One of the most popular adaptations is the animated TV series **Moominvalley**, which features beautiful animation and brings Tove Jansson’s beloved characters to life for modern audiences. Earlier animated series, such as the 1990s **Moomin**, also introduced many fans around the world to Moomintroll, Snufkin, Little My, and the rest of the residents of Moominvalley.
There have also been several Moomin movies, including **Moomins on the Riviera** (2014), based on Tove Jansson’s comic strip. The film follows the Moomin family as they travel to the glamorous French Riviera, where they encounter new experiences and learn valuable lessons about family, friendship, and staying true to themselves. Both the TV shows and movies capture the warmth, humor, and imagination that make the Moomins so enduringly popular.
THE OBSESSION IS BAD. Moomin is absolutely hands down the cutest most adorable thing I found while traveling. And that I will probably ever find. @moominofficial I love you.

כבר הרבה זמן התחשק לי לצייר ציור של מומין משקיף על עמק המומינים (ויותר מזה, התחשק לי ציור כזה על הקיר 😄). הנה חלק מהתהליך.
