Hot off the needles - Moon Set Tee in Lavender!
I knit the white tee last year and wanted to knit another in the same cotton yarn.
Some differences I made were:
- Increasing one needle size because the knits became tighter after washing multiple times
- Shortening the sleeves for the Lavender tee since it is slightly wider
- Increasing length of the body slightly
It took quite a while to complete knitting this piece as I kept putting it down with the warmer weather, but I’m so happy it is done!

Gotta say sometimes it just comes down to trusting the process. I'm working on a new project with my first drop shoulder construction and I've had to constantly tell myself to just keep pushing through because things just were not clicking ay first. But, thankfully now I'm starting to see everything take shape.

1) #SohoTop by @caidree : Easy to knit, but upstated finishing details *chef’s kiss*, recommend to knit this one in our Equinox Worsted base so that you don’t have to hold double (save yourself some coins for the next cast ons 😉)
2) #CasparCamisole by @kolibri.by_johanna : for when you need to look cute but have barely a stitch touching you 🥵, recommended yarn is Equinox Sport! (pattern is written in fingering, but you could easily get gauge in our sport weight)
3) #MoonSetTee by @ozetta : this collar detail! Definitely feel like this is the most gender neutral design but for my gentlemen Magpie Makers, please check your shoulder measurements before casting on!, recommended yarn is also Equinox Sport (play with color or make yourself a wardrobe staple neutral, either is a win!)

Knits on knits plus new hair! Since Seattle can’t decide what temperature it is I layered up today. My #wintersbeachcardi from waaaaay back and my most recent FO, the #moonsettee.
I knit my Moon Set (by @ozetta) sample in La Bien Aimee Silk Tweed which should be in store soon! I am absolutely loving the drape and feel of the 100% silk. It was a dream to knit with and should be fantastic for sunny weather.

Come on, it’s not that hard… and we’re giving you clues!
It’s the only one of our yarns that blends two natural fibers: wool + …🫣
Its colors weren’t picked at random — they tell stories.
And they were created by one of your favorite designers (yes, that one you’re thinking of). 🫠🤍
Oh, and its name? A tribute to our grandfather. That’s how special it is. 🌾
So… any guesses yet? 🧶💭
I have to admit, picking up armhole stitches is not my favorite activity… actually picking up stitches in general is not my favorite, but sometimes it needs to be done!
I tried something new to me when picking up these sleeve stitches and I picked up every 2 out of 3 stitches to get a nice and even sleeve all the way around.
I’m already halfway through knitting this second sleeve (I forgot how quick they were!) after I put this project down for way too long.
Maybe the whole tee will be done by the end of summer 🤪
