#morpeko

What if we told you the Pokémon everyone jokes about for being hangry is actually trapped in a body that will never let it feel full? Morpeko is called the Two-Sided Pokémon. When it's fed, it's happy and sweet. But when it gets hungry, its hormones shift, its electricity turns dark, and the Pokédex says it gets driven to extremes of violence until its hunger is appeased. And everyone laughs at it. Relatable, right? We've all been hangry. But here's what the Pokédex actually says. Morpeko has a small stomach. If it isn't constantly eating the seeds it keeps in its pockets, it will get hungry immediately. Not eventually. Immediately. No matter how much it eats, it always gets hungry again in short order. It carries roasted seeds with it everywhere, like they're precious treasures, because food is the only thing standing between who it wants to be and who hunger forces it to become. And when it fails, when the hunger wins, the Pokédex calls it a violent ruffian who gets up to all manner of evil deeds. But what choice does it have? Morpeko isn't choosing to be cruel. It's fighting the same battle every single day, knowing it will never actually win. And when it loses, people don't ask what it needed. They just judge what it became. So maybe the next time you see someone at their worst, the question isn't what's wrong with them. Maybe it's what are they fighting that you can't see. ⬇️ ⚡ Question: What is a battle you fight every day that most people don't see? Tell us in the comments.
