This is the @rosskopf_montecavallo Mountain Coaster, the most thrilling alpine coaster in the Vipiteno area! 🌲💨 With panoramic curves, straights through the woods, and the thrill of deciding YOUR own speed (thanks to the manual brakes—perfect for both daredevils and view-lovers), it’s the ultimate mountain experience to share with friends or family! We reached the coaster effortlessly and in no time, since we stayed at the beautiful @romantikhotel.stafler , which turned out to be the perfect, super-convenient base for this adventure! 📌 USEFUL INFO FOR YOUR TRIP: 📍 Location: At Monte Cavallo (Rosskopf), right above Vipiteno (Sterzing). You can reach it effortlessly by taking the cable car directly from the town. 🎒 Age & Safety: Kids from 3 years old can ride accompanied by an adult, and from age 9 (and at least 130 cm tall), they can drive their own sled. ☀️ Best time to visit: This is a summer/autumn attraction. 🎢 NEW Mountain Coaster, save for the next time you’re at Grouse Mountain! 🏔️ Price (*coaster only, doesn’t include gondola ride up): 1 ride - $29, add a passenger $12 2 rides - $42, add a passenger $15 It’s a roughly 2 minute ride down, you control your speed, and then a ~4 minute scenic ride back to the top. ➡️My thoughts: the ride is a ton of fun & would make for a fun addition to your next Grouse day trip. It goes quick and before you know it you’re at the end, so make sure to soak in the moment. The price doesn’t include the gondola ride up, so this is something you’ll want to pair with other activities on the mountain to get the full value out of your day. Have you been to the new mountain coaster? ⬇️ @canyoncoaster just recently opened in Williams, Arizona. They offer the mountain coaster and tubing. It's costs $20 per adult for the coaster and the ride goes pretty quick. They do allow double riders too. This was so much fun and so glad I finally got to cross this off my bucket list.
