The final design of the series 🍦🤍
This one is also a bit out there as a compliment phrase - not sure I've ever said this to anyone, but maybe someone else has! To be honest, this one was a bit of fun to make it a set of 10!
Any guesses on the phrase?

The paint splashes either occur naturally while I’m painting, or I add them controlled at the end – they give the whole painting more movement and life🧑🎨

You know that moment when you feel the caffeine hit your blood stream? Yup, this is that exact moment. It's the coffee effect.

Today I painted the sweetest 🍦ice cream cone —nothing fancy, just soft layers, a little inspiration, and a gentle shadow to bring it to life.
If you’ve been wanting to paint but didn’t know where to start… let this be your sign to keep it simple and just begin. 🩶

It was always mint to be. Coming soon.
Did somebody call the party penguins?! 🥳
Another super quick illustration for today’s artwork! I’m running out of hours in my day trying to juggle everything atm but I’ve come this far in my daily artwork challenge that I refuseee to stop now! Although I am excited to put my brushes down for the weekend 😆
Penny and Percy are ready to waddle to a new home if you’d like to adopt them - this original 6” x 6” watercolour artwork is available for £35. Please dm to reserve 🌿✨

When I paint a pet portrait there's a feeling that it has to be as close to the reference as possible - in my style obviously, I am not aiming for hyperrealism (even though I find it so impressive!)
But when I'm painting pieces like this one I've been trying to add some elements that bring out a sense of story or character.
I try to think about intent and expression more, moving into interpretation and exploration rather than 'just' copying. I think sometimes this feels easier, letting go of perfectionism, but sometimes it feels like a lack of structure and is a bit scary! 😶🌫️
I think maybe it is adding more 'me' to my work which is glorious and terrifying 😅 Do other creatives relate or am I going crazy? 🤣🤣
