🔥🇮🇳 Mixed Dal - original Indian Recipe
Mixed Dal is one of my favorite Indian comfort dishes. It’s a classic lentil dish where different types of lentils are cooked together. I especially love combining green lentils with yellow lentils like Mung Dal or Toor Dal. If those traditional Indian lentils are hard to find where you live, you can easily use red or brown lentils instead. The result is a creamy, flavorful, and super nourishing dish that always feels warm and comforting.
Ingredients:
1 cup green lintels
1 cup yellow lentils ( or any of your choice)
1 onion
1 tbsp garlic ginger paste
1 tomatoe
2 green chilies
Oil
1 tsp cumin seeds
3 tsp salt (or according to your taste)
1,5 tsp garam masala
1,5 tsp kitchen king masala ( you can this And all other spices at 🛒 indogermankitchen.com)
1,5 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp coriander powder
1,5 liter water
Cook the lentils(dal) for 20 Min.
Roti:
500g flour (roti flour or any multigrain flour of your choice)
300-350ml water ( add the water gently and not all at once, see the consistency of the dough and how much you need)
