Alrightt so I have been getting asked a lot about my process, and to be honest, it varies a lot! I generally start with a loose idea of what I’d like done on the wall. For this piece I’ve been given full creative control, so mock-ups haven’t been very important. A lot of what I sketch ends up differently on the wall, due to all its lumps and bumps and characteristics. I often go quite off course! But, when I do what to plan it out, I transfer a photo of the wall to @procreate and then sketch the mural concept straight onto that. From there, I use chalk to sketch it out on the wall, and begin painting. For me, I like to start with my black chunky lines and add layers from there, but I’ll often change this depending on what I’m doing. So there you have it, the very simple version of my chaos in the alleyway. In terms of inspiration, I like to just have fun with it and that helps a lot, find ways to ease the pressure, talk it out with friends and just play with a few ideas until you find what feels right for you. #muralart #muralartist #murals #freelanceartist #artist

Day one! This mural concept came to my mind after hearing a story of how a brains neurons light up when in a state of wonder. When we actively use our imagination, we literally come alive! This mural came after many discussions, talking to a neuroscientist, and exploring how to showcase how one thought inside someone can become a living, breathing, full blown idea as seen by these neurons ebbing into a fully formed plant! First neuron day done! More tomorrow! Thank you @connectlabs.wexford for letting my idea come to life on your walls! 🌱

We are thrilled to reveal the final artwork for the Toormina Gardens Community Mural! 🎉 🎨 This mural is the result of a shared creative process. Through a series of hands-on creative workshops, local youth from the Bongil Bongil Youth collective, were invited to explore themes of identity, culture and Connection to Country and Land through creative workshops. Their drawings, stories and symbols were used by artist Uncle Kev as the foundation for the mural concept, ensuring the final artwork is deeply rooted in local voices. Created in partnership with Blue Sky Community Services and the Alcohol and Drug Foundation, you can see the mural in the Wirrabilla Drive entryway corridor of Toormina Gardens.

We started with a mural concept but realized a custom canvas painting would be best. 🦩This #muralmonday is a very special collaboration with @designerpris 🦩The mural concept began with references and inspiration from wallpapers and previous murals. Painting a mural study. Finalizing the layout and placement of content and sizing to create depth. 🦩I love the softness of colors and whimsical atmosphere. #muralart#powderbath#homeinterior#homestyle#homeinspo#interiorinspo#artoftheday#interiors#interiorstyling#shireenichole#luxury#naplesartist #instalove#comment#instagood#reelvideo#trendingreels#shireenicholedesignerfinishes#designerpris#flamingos#nursery#nurseryinspo

🧜🏾‍♀️Queen of the Sea🧜🏾‍♀️ Thank you @coloroutsidelines for an amazing opportunity to work with a youth partner on a mural concept for the city! 🌊When my 10-yr-old collaborator & I started thinking about water, we talked a lot about play—naturally! We talked about the water being a playground for humans & animals alike, which led to her sharing that she loves to swim with her mermaid tail! Thus, a mermaid queen was born & forever immortalized. Big thank you to @jreybran for getting me connected with this project & huge gratitude to @coloroutsidelines for helping us take this whole thing to the next level & getting youth involved! I’ll spare you the deets on how these ✨utility water boxes✨ play an essential role in our stormwater system, but please thank the incredible folks at the Bureau of Environmental Services for what they do🙏🏽 📍SE 7th Ave & SE Washington St TY for your support @centraleastside 🫰🏽
