Served with chopped strawberries and the sweetest of mangos. NEW HYPE 🥭 COOKIE BOWL - 10/10 YUM YUM! Not seen this anywhere else. A bowl full of cookies consisting of red velvet, terrys orange, white chocolate and milk chocolate mixture. Centred with a white chocolate dip. The cookies were unbelievably soft and gooey, every bite left us wanting more. The sauce in the middle tasted amazing especially being a white chocolate lover 🍪 CHOCOLATE FILLED CHURROS - 9/10 Crunch crunch little bite size churros. The chocolate inside the churros did it for us. Kept it moist and not doughy. Consistent oozing flavour 🍫 MANGO & PASSION MOCKTAIL - 9/10 Thoroughly enjoyed this one as the flavour was different to your usual mango and passion fruit 🍸 We were invited to try @mycravingsofficial based in Huddersfield. A lovely little spot just up the road from Huddersfield New College. Malai chicken gravy 🤍 Marination: • 500 g boneless chicken • 1 tsp salt • 1 tsp crushed black pepper • ½ lemon juice • ¾ cup thick yogurt Mix everything and marinate for 30 mins. ⸻ Gravy Base: • 2 tbsp oil • 1 onion (sliced) • 7–8 garlic cloves • 2-inch ginger • 4–5 coriander stems • 2 green chillies • 12–15 soaked cashews • ½ cup water Cook till onions soften (don’t brown). Blend into a smooth paste. ⸻ To Cook: • 2 tbsp oil + 1 tbsp butter • 1 bay leaf, 4 cloves, 5 cardamoms, ½ cinnamon • ½ tsp cardamom powder • 1 tsp kasuri methi (crushed) • Cream (optional) & coriander Heat oil and butter, add whole spices. Add the paste and cook for 5–7 mins. Add marinated chicken, mix well, cover, and cook for 15–20 mins. They in the group chat callling me Sly Muncho 😂 I’ve been vegan for almost 2 years but I’ve been raw vegan for almost 1year when January hits. I love food like if we went to the restaurant I would order atleast 3-4 entrees cause I’m trying to get a taste of all the food. So imagine how hard of a switch that was for me😭 Now I’m good but I still do get thoughts and cravings of good that I used to eat. If the cravings get too bad I just describe the food that I’m thinking out loud and that satisfies my cravings. I know the holidays are coming up and this is the time that good ol family food is about to get cooked, but honestly it doesn’t bother me. I will be good with my fruit, I don’t eat past 5pm anyways. But I’m about to challenge myself here soon and go on a 100% juice fast.
