The Wall That Heals has arrived in Dare County!
We are so grateful to the Veterans Advisory Council for all the work that has gone into bringing the wall to our county.
Thank you to all the volunteers, sponsors and staff. Thank you to our escort participants and to all who braved the chilly wind to wave flags along roadsides today. Most importantly, THANK YOU to all of our incredible veterans.
We look forward to sharing this exhibit with you all.

Soft Opening - Wednesday, November 15, 2023 at 6 p.m. (after which the exhibit is open to the public, 24 hours/day)
Opening Ceremony - Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 10 a.m.
Candlelight Ceremony - Friday, November 17, 2023 at 6 p.m.
Walk to the Wall - Saturday, November 18, 2023 at 11 a.m.
Exhibit Breakdown - Sunday, November 19, 2024 beginning at 2 p.m.
