Not to be dramatic but this might be the most underrated beach near Málaga 🌊 La Caleta de Maro sits about an hour east of the city, tucked between cliffs in a protected natural area (Acantilados de Maro-Cerro Gordo), and it’s nothing like the beaches in town. No sunbeds, no beach bars, no crowds — just clear water, dark sand, and cliffs on either side. Good to know before you go: access is on foot, so park near Maro village and walk down (roughly 15-20 min). It sometimes gets busy in peak summer but stays quiet most of the year, so September/October is a great time to catch it calm 🏖️ Pair it with a stop at the Nerja Caves nearby, or Maro Beach right next door if you want more space to spread out. Back in the city? La Cueva de Nerja, en Málaga, fue descubierta en 1959 por cinco jóvenes de Maro que exploraban una abertura por la que salían murciélagos. En su interior encontraron enormes galerías y un importante conjunto arqueológico. La cueva había sido utilizada por grupos humanos durante la Prehistoria y conserva pinturas y grabados rupestres. Abrió oficialmente al público en 1960 y hoy es uno de los grandes monumentos naturales de Andalucía.

QUE HACER EN NERJA, COSTA DEL SOL? -Caminar desde la terminal por la Calle Pintadas, la principal, comercial, turistica, andaluz. En 10 minutos llegas al -Balcon de Europa , un paseo sobre un acantilado para ver el Mediterraneo y mas allá Africa, solo en dias muy despejados y afinando la vista, (yo no la vi)🤷🏻‍♂️ -Visitar la pequeña iglesia del Salvador, enfrente tenes oficina de Turismo para info. -Playa, te recomiendo la de Burriana, caminando a 10 min del centro. -Visitar las cuevas de Nerja (a 5km) ,(si vas aca deberias alojarte una noche para no hacer todo en un dia) QUE COMER? Pescados de mar sin duda, y un helado, (4€ de dos bochas) hay heladerias por todos lados. DONDE? Sur de España, sobre el mar Mediterráneo, en Andalucia, forma parte de la Costa del Sol. COMO LLEGAR? Te recomiendo parar en Málaga. En bus 45 min a 1h30 min dependiendo de las paradas. Empresa Alsa, saliendo desde terminal aprox. 10€ #lugares #maleta #mediterraneo #nerja #españa
