🇨🇦 Canada Tightens Immigration Numbers – Lena Metlege Diab announced major changes to the country’s immigration targets. New permanent residents will now make up less than 1% of the population, while the non-permanent resident population, including international students and temporary workers, will be reduced to below 5% by the end of 2027. These measures aim to rebalance population growth and manage immigration levels more strictly over the next few years.

Someone once asked me: you are always complaining about weather in Canada! Why did you even choose to immigrate there?🤔 Well, you don’t move to Canada for weather. It’s just a side effect🤷🏼♀️
Share why you chose Canada as your new home!
Immigrate to Canada, Canada immigration, move to Canada
🇨🇦 Ever realized you’ve started speaking a completely different language since moving to Canada? 🗣️
It’s not just an accent, it’s a whole set of unwritten rules and “Canadoze” vocabulary that makes you a true local. 🍁
Here’s the ultimate checklist to see if you’ve officially leveled up (Canadoze edition) 👇
The Vocabulary Test: 📢
• Toque: It’s not a beanie; it’s a winter hat.
• Double-Double: Your standard coffee order with two creams and two sugars.
• Hydro: You don’t pay an “electric bill”; you pay your hydro.
• Washroom: If you ask for the “bathroom,” we know you’re a tourist.
• Loonies & Toonies: Why call them $1 and $2 coins when you can name them after birds?
The Habits That Give You Away: 🧤
1. The Reflex: Saying “sorry” even when someone else bumps into you.
2. The Weather Check: Opening your weather app 5 times a day because Canadian seasons can change in an hour.
3. The Door Dance: Holding the door for someone 20 feet away and doing the “no, you go” shuffle.
4. The Patience: Sitting at a green light behind someone without honking—because being polite is the law of the land.
5. The 10°C Rule: Complaining about the cold all winter, but calling 10°C “shorts weather” in April.
The Verdict: ✨
If you’ve caught yourself doing at least 3 of these—congratulations, you’re officially Canadian, eh? 🇨🇦😊
Whether you were born here or chose this journey, these quirks are what bring us all together in the Great White North. ❄️❤️

🎥 Minister Lena Diab shares key immigration targets.
Canada has reduced the number of new permanent residents to under 1% of the population. Non-permanent residents, including international students and temporary workers, are being capped below 5% by 2027 🇨🇦
Recent data also shows sharp drops in new student and worker arrivals.
New student arrivals dropped from over 90,000 in December 2023 to under 10,000 in December 2025. Temporary workers also fell from 30,000+ to below 10,000.

If you are an international student, a worker, or a PR applicant in Canada, listen closely. On March 26, 2026, Bill C-12 officially became law, and it gives the government powers we haven’t seen in decades.
First: The Power to Pause. The government can now stop or even cancel entire groups of applications, even after you’ve submitted them - if they deem it’s in the ‘public interest.’ This includes PR, work permits, and study permits.
Second: The Asylum Crackdown. If you’ve been in Canada for more than a year, you are now ineligible to claim asylum. And if you entered irregularly from the U.S. border? You could be blocked from a hearing entirely. These rules are retroactive back to June 2025.
Third: Your Data is Moving. Your personal immigration info can now be shared more easily between government agencies and even foreign entities with the Minister’s approval.
The era of ‘submit and wait’ has changed to ‘submit and stay alert.’ Bill C-12 is designed to give the government maximum flexibility, but for you, it means your application is never truly ‘safe’ until it’s approved. My advice? Double-check every detail for ‘misrepresentation’ or ‘errors’ - the government now has a much faster ‘cancel’ button for mistakes.
How do you feel about these new powers? Is it about ‘security’ or is it too much control? 👇

Mark Carney is leaning into a “new world order.” Canada and China struck new trade and energy deals in Beijing as Ottawa adapts to shifting global power dynamics.

Trump's next TARGET??? 🇺🇸🌎 After President Trump has shown interest in Greenland and Canada, which countries would the United states go for? So Firstly in Canada, The Northern territories are really beneficial for US because as the ice melts, new shipping routes would be created. However Canada would never want to merge with the US. Then the next option is Norway and specifically Svalbard. Trump could pay heavy money and buy Svalbard from Norway and they would easily accept this offer. This Island called Svalbard would give the US a strategic hotspot.
I left my country for a better future, and now I’m crying in −23°C with 20 inches of snow and emotional damage. 😭❄️
If you’re an immigrant in Canada, you already know, the weather builds character REAL fast.
But while winter is temporary, your immigration status shouldn’t be stressful year-round.
Whether it’s work permits, PR pathways, extensions, or just knowing your options, having the right guidance makes all the difference.

We need to be more appreciative for our culture and our heritage.
Canada will not be Canada in a few more years..
We’ll be the 51st state of Israel.
Diluted by people who can’t respect their own culture, but think they can respect ours?
Welcome to the new world.
Where being foreign means you get better care and opportunities, while your own people go homeless and broke.
Let’s make it make sense?
Oh wait, it does, when you realize it’s all by design,
To make way for their new world order.
Wake up, your clock is ticking.
