Bugün bazı binaların bodrumlarının tuhaf görünmesinin sebebi bu.
Çünkü o bodrumlar eskiden sokağın kendisiymiş.
Yani Prag’da gezerken aslında başka bir şehrin üstünde yürüyorsun.
Bu “katmanlı” his şehirde hep var.
Astronomik Saat de bunu çok net hissettiriyor.
1410’da yapılmış.
Sadece zamanı değil, güneşi, ayı ve burçları aynı anda gösteriyor.
Orta Çağ insanının evreni nasıl algıladığını anlatıyor.
Saat her durduğunda halk tedirgin olmuş çünkü bunun kötü olaylarla çakıştığına inanılıyor.
Prag’da masal gibi anlatılan ama ciddiye alınan hikâyeler var.

Yahudi Mahallesi’nde, şehri korumak için çamurdan bir varlık yaratıldığı anlatılıyor
ve bu hikâye hâlâ geçiştirilmiyor.

Bunların çoğu David Černý’ye ait.
Prag’ın en provokatif sanatçılarından biri.
Heykelleri güzel olmak için değil, rahatsız edip düşündürmek için var.
Kafka da burada doğmuş ama kendini hiç ait hissetmemiş.
Bugün Prag’la bu kadar özdeşleşmesinin sebebi de bu yabancılık hissi.
Kukla tiyatroları bile çocuklara göre değil.
Yetişkinlere, politik ve karanlık.
Prag’ın masalsı görünen ama sert tarafını anlatıyor.
O yüzden başta söylediğim söz çok doğru: ya seversin ya hiç sevmezsin..
