Starting out in photography can make choosing a camera feel overwhelming. Just do your research and choose something that feels comfortable in your hands and supports the kind of photography you want to pursue. Photographers will almost always recommend the brand they’re most loyal to, but that doesn’t necessarily mean those options will be the best fit for you.

Everyone comes to Boulders Beach for the African penguins… but meet the other stars of Boulders Beach: the rock hyraxes (or as I like to call them, furry potatoes 🥔✨
They’re literally everywhere… on the rocks, in the bushes, even chilling on the beach right next to the penguins. Despite their potato vibes, their closest relatives are actually elephants and manatees 🐘💦.

Happy New Month fam! Went looking to see what the footage I captured from the video the guy had sent me… fair to say I got the shot ☺️🧜🏽♀️✨
My underwater setup is a Nikon Z8 with a NIKKOR 14-24 f2.8S lens, wide enough for the huge and dials in beautifully for detail - the dive conditions weren’t fantastic on the day but love the crispness!
