It is a reminder of the resourcefulness and resilience ingrained in the DNA of Lagosians—a testament to their ability to thrive in the face of hardship.
However, the future of the Danfo hangs in the balance. As Lagos continues to modernize and embrace new modes of transportation, there are plans to phase out these iconic vehicles. The winds of change blow, and with each passing day, the streets of Lagos witness a gradual transformation. The Danfo’s imminent departure from the cityscape will mark the end of an era—an era defined by its kaleidoscope of colors, its communal spirit, and its unique charm.

Let us remember the stories it carries, the dreams it has propelled, and the sense of community it has fostered.
