After spine surgery, T3 was in horrible pain.
No sleep—just crying, sometimes hollering for hours. Tossing and turning every 20 minutes, unable to get comfortable.
Last night was the very first night since surgery that he slept most of the night. Yes, he woke up a few times to change positions, but for the most part his pain was under control and he slept comfortably.
This morning OT came by and he got dressed. It’s been a long time since my boy put a shirt on over his head without me having to customize it with buttons.
My boy got dressed for the first time since surgery, Nerf gun tucked in his underwear, and we went cruising these hospital streets down to the cafeteria.
I know the chicken tender was dry, but T3 ate that thing like it was a steak! 😂
