Quand un cuir noir perd de son intensité, il ne s’agit pas simplement de le recolorer. L’objectif est surtout de retrouver la profondeur du noir, tout en respectant le grain et la matière du cuir. Chaque étape a son importance : nettoyage, préparation du cuir, recoloration précise, puis protection pour fixer le résultat. In Longchamp’s Fall–Winter 2026 collection, curiosity and creativity take centre stage. Creative Director Sophie Delafontaine frames curiosity as a powerful engine for design, channelling her love of the natural landscape into the season’s narrative. In collaboration with Belgian artist Caroline Helain, renowned for landscape‑inspired work, the house unveils embroidered bags that weave Helain’s motifs through the season’s colour palette. Architectural cues also come to the fore, notably the poppy‑green, undulating steel staircase at Longchamp’s SoHo, New York flagship, designed by British architect Thomas Heatherwick. Its sinuous form and vivid hue are reinterpreted as a jubilant suite of bags and accessories.
