Many years working in labor and delivery and going to C-sections went into figuring this out. It looks simple (but actually wasn’t), normally a stump pulls the glove onto the hand from the outside. I tried that approach, but the gloves would get tangled or I’d lose my sterile field. What works best for me is keeping my stump on the inside and pulling the glove down instead. Simple, efficient, and sterile. #onearm #disability #nursing #disablednurse

Things people have said to me when noticing my arm for the first time! • “What happened to your arm?” A classic lol. People are curious, they always want to know even if they don’t know your name or anything else about me • “Does it hurt?” No, it’s just like any other body part on any average day • “It’s so cool you seem to get on with it pretty well!” Well yes, I should considering I’ve had one arm my whole life 🤣 • “I’m so sorry you’re like that!” I’m not, and I wouldn’t want to be any other way! I think this makes me who I am and always has. It’s a strength in my opinion to be anything other than normal 🫶🏻 #limbdifference #onearm #luckyfin

2x1 @ 200kg 🔥 One hand (+ brace) deadlift pb! When I first broke my hand I set myself a goal to deadlift 2hunna, so I did it.. twice ✌️ It’s been a really rough few months adjusting to a life outside of competitive powerlifting whilst I heal, but setting new goals for myself and seeing these small wins really makes all of the pain I’m going through a little bit more manageable.
