FYI: the Huntington Beach location isn’t even listed on Smoking Tiger’s website yet. I was told the Double Matcha and Coconut Matcha are exclusives here. Also, look around before you order because I completely missed a whole cabinet of sweets, including black sesame mochi. There’s a lot more than I realized, so maybe bring a friend and divide and conquer.
And Northern Cafe just had its grand opening next door, so there’s another reason to check out this plaza.

New spot alert, and I do not say this lightly. @chefcutmeathouse in Brea.
Here is why I was in the door before most people even knew it existed. It is opened by the same family behind the Brea Chophouse, which is, no exaggeration, the best restaurant I have ever eaten at. So when I heard they had a new place, I did not wait. I went for lunch the day before it opened, and then I went back for breakfast on opening day. Same weekend. Twice. That is how good it is.
What you need to order: The beet salad. The wagyu Philly cheesesteak The cannoli. And on the breakfast side, the breakfast burrito and the tater tots. I am still thinking about all of it.
If you are anywhere near #Brea, go. Then come back and tell me what you got.
