handmade items are luxury goods 😤 While wearing one of my pieces out the other day, I got a typical “you made that?!?? you could make a lot of money selling your knits” 😅 And while yes, I could make SOME money selling my knits, in today’s fast fashion world, the expectation is that clothing is as cheap as possible—most people wouldn’t even want to pay for the cost of materials when it comes to hand knit 100% wool garments, let alone pay for my time and expertise to turn yarn into fashion. All the @ozetta sweaters I’ve knit 🧶 I started seriously knitting when my kids were really little and it was something I could pick up / put down (repeat) around the chaos and helped me feel grounded. Following knit patterns had been confusing for me until I first knit an Ozetta pattern and that’s when it all clicked for me!
