In 1999 a 25 year old rapper from Irvington, New Jersey named "Pacewon" dropped his first hit single "I Declare War". He rose to fame in the late 1990s as one of the prominent and founding members of the rap group "Da Outsidaz" along with fellow rappers "Young Zee", "D.U.", "Slang Ton", "Lil boyzazz", "Loon", "Axe", "Yah Yah", "Rah Digga" and a few others. The group would later make Detroit rappers "Eminem" and "Bizarre" of "D12" honorary members of the group after a collaboration. After a string of singles in the late 1990s, the rise of former crew member Eminem, and a few years of virtual absence from him towards Da Outsidaz, it seemed that the New Jersey underground rap group collective would fade into obscurity. At the time of Eminem's rise to fame and glory many members of Da Outsidaz had felt betrayed and forgotten and a few artists from the group made diss tracks aimed at the once close friend. But out of all the artists who dissed Eminem throughout his entire career none were as good as Pacewon's titled "Rap Music". Eminem as big and as busy of an artist that he is, did not respond to the diss, but many years later he released a song titled "Fine Line" speaking on his feelings of guilt towards his old rap group. Although it's unclear if mends were made personally between Eminem and Pacewon and other members of Da Outsidaz, Pacewon and Young Zee have seem to put their old feelings behind them and forgive their old friend after his release of "Fine Line". Many people may not know who Pacewon is due to only being casual listeners of HipHop but he is definitely a rapper who stands out from the vast majority. Pacewon will always be recognized for his complex rhymes schemes, lyrical capability, wittiness, and punchlines. Thank You Pacewon for everything you've contributed to the Art of HipHop you are not forgotten and considered a legendary MC to many. 🙏🙌🎧🎤🎶 #HipHop #Pacewon #IDeclareWar #DaOutsidaz #NewJersey #EastCoast
