I love participating in the Euro Jigsaw Jam contests organized by @speedpuzzle.eu . They have grown to encompass participants from all over the world and feel like a virtual version of the world championships. Their custom puzzles use art that is both fun to look at and assemble, and have high production quality with no glare and a satisfying grid cut. This puzzle looked a little challenging when I first took it out of the wrapper, and needed a lot of pick-and-place in the high-detail section. The thought "I don't see anything to place" popped into my head at least a couple of times while solving this puzzle. At some point, instinct took over and I started putting in pieces even when I wasn't consciously aware of why they went in a specific location. Honestly, it felt really validating to be able to do so -- like my recent practice for US Nationals was making a difference in my puzzling. Also, there was a subtle gradient in the blue sky and green bushes, and generally, the large areas of color were distinguishable and I loved how easily I was able to put it all together. I usually livestream my table on YouTube during these contests. Catch me on a future one! (Link in bio) Expedition, 🧩 500 ⏱️ 1:00:36 From http://speedpuzzle.eu Thank you for the on-air shoutout @nerd_puzzle, I always get a little boost from it 😂 #speedpuzzling #jigsawpuzzles #eurojigsawjam #ejj

The fastest puzzlers in the country are going head to head in the @usajigsawpuzzle Finals today! Who’s going to take the top spots? I’m faster than the average puzzler but average for a speed puzzler, so I’m mostly competing with myself and enjoying time with my fellow puzzlers. Speed puzzling is very welcoming so don’t be afraid to give it a try! Thanks again to @completingthepuzzleofficial for sponsoring me to be here! I’ve loved meeting some of the team in person for the first time that I’ve been talking to for years, and spending some time together. And I have the best pairs partner and team! Can’t wait to puzzle with you today! @thatpuzzlegal @puzzledtwinmama @ameenahspieces #speedpuzzling #speedpuzzle #usajigsawnationals #puzzlecommunity #puzzlepeople

I’m so excited for this @squidinki puzzle that came all the way from Australia! I brought this puzzle with me to nationals since it came all the way from the Australian nationals. I’m hoping to get it done in the next couple of days. This puzzle looks in great shape after 27 times! #puzzle #puzzlecommunity #puzzlecommunity #together

Some highlights from @usajigsawpuzzle Nationals final rounds - congrats to all the top finishers! There were some first-timers at Nationals in that group! I thought the teams puzzles were an especially good way to end the weekend - everyone finished in the time! 🙌🏼 Love this community and am grateful to everyone who made it possible so we could have a joyous weekend doing what we love with other people who love doing it just as much! 🥰 #speedpuzzling #speedpuzzle #usajigsawnationals #puzzlecommunity
