🚨PSA for anyone planning a birthday party — do NOT cut hundreds of paper strips by yourself ✂️✨
Take your paper into Staples or OfficeMax and have them cut them into strips for you — it only costs a few dollars and is ready in minutes! Then all you have to do is assemble & decorate 🎉
Save this idea for later if you want to skip the most time consuming part of making paper chains + send this to a friend 😊🌈✨

Turns out these were way EASIER to make than expected ✨
• Cut 8.5” × 11” cardstock into four 2.75” strips
• Loop + staple each strip
• Repeat until you reach your desired length
• Hang & decorate! 🎉

No need for a ladder or helium to hang balloons with this party hack! 🎈
Just take a cup, punch a hole in the bottom, and then tape it to an extension pole for paint or a broomstick. And it’s that easy!!
To hang: Put the ribbon through the hole and put a piece of painters tape on top so it does not damage your ceilings
I’ve had these up for over a month and the only reason they come down is because my kids wanna play with them! 😂😉

Skip the paper for ribbon chains you can reuse year after year here’s how we did it 👇
🎀 Cut white cotton ribbon into equal strips (about 6–8 inches long).
🎀 Dye in your favorite colors using Rit All-Purpose Dye. We used Petal Pink, Coral, Golden Yellow, Emerald and Aquamarine. 🩷🧡💛💚💙
🎀 Rinse, wash, and let the ribbon dry flat.
🎀 Loop one strip into a circle with hot glue.
🎀 Thread the next strip through the first loop, glue it, and repeat until your chain is the desired length.
🎀 Hang on your ceiling, mantel, staircase, or anywhere else for all your celebrations.
