Couldn’t resist sneaking in another two for one outfit post, this one featuring Gathering Cotton from @merchantandmills I had to do a bit of piecing to make it work but I had enough leftover from my M6696 dress to make this cute Array Top hack. The hem is made with lines of shirring which has got to be one of my favourite techniques to add to garments. @papercutpatterns Array Top in @merchantandmills Gathering Cotton Year Sewn : 2021 Modifications : sleeveless Array with six lines of shirring at the hem @closetcorepatterns Ginger Jeans (again!) We have some stunning textured and quilted denim for you today. Denim is all over the high street at the moment, so we just had to find some for you to make your own jacket, gilet, or even a bag. I'm wearing the Nova coat from Papercut Patterns, and I always get compliments when I wear it. We have 3 denims that would work perfectly for this project. As they are pre-quilted, they are already lined and have cosy wadding inside, so they are great for autumn. I created this using two of my favourite patterns - the #shorelineshift by @cayden.naughton and the #tulapants by @papercutpatterns ✨ I love the Tula pants because they are more of a straight leg pant rather than wide but you could use whatever elastic waist pants pattern you have on hand! I think the fabric does the legwork here- it is one of my fave cottons from @potter_and_co_australia and it has an almost papery feeling and texture- it’s delish!
