For this braid out, I used water, hair mousse, oil and 2 packs of perm rods. I decided to plait the hair because it keeps my natural hair stretched instead of super tight curls. One thing about natural hairstyles, the products can certainly add up especially when you aren’t sure what works best with your hair type. The nairobi is a great product but I used it bc it was what I had at home. There are good natural hair mousses that aren’t as expensive as that.
