We thought International Women’s Day was the perfect opportunity to show the faces of the mums behind Perth Mums Who. We started this instagram while we were both on maternity leave, each raising two under two, to share our finds and adventures and support other women also in their mum era. We’ve built such an amazing community of Perth mums, and also met so many inspiring women on this platform too. We can’t wait to see where the PMW journey takes us, and we are so unbelievably grateful to you for joining us on the adventure! We love it when you share your own stories and adventures with us, and we love meeting our PMW community. Lately, Kai and I have been leaning into nature a little more. 🌿 Slower mornings. Muddy shoes. Creek crossings. Climbing rocks. Stopping for every bug, feather and stick that apparently needs to come home with us. 😂 And he absolutely adores it. It's made me think about how much of this I loved before becoming a mum too... and how different it feels experiencing it now through his eyes. So I had an idea. What if some of us did it together? A group of Perth mums. A family-friendly trail. No rushing to get to the end. Just giving our little ones the space and time to explore, while we walk, chat and hopefully make a few new connections along the way. Then find a beautiful spot, roll out the picnic rugs, unpack our lunches and stay a little longer. 🤍 Maybe it's something you loved doing before kids and haven't quite found your way back to yet. Maybe you've always wanted to explore more of Perth but haven't wanted to do it alone. Or maybe, like us, you're simply craving more time outside. I want to preserve as much of the magic of outdoor childhood as I can. And I have a feeling it might be even better shared. 🌿 Would you come? 📣 Perth Mums 📣 Your kids are going to LOVE Perth’s newest gymnastics and playcentre @apeescapegym I took my boys to one of their Toddler Play sessions and let me tell you they have not stopped talking about it 😆 Info you need for the Toddler Play: 📆 Two sessions per morning Tuesday - Friday, one session Sunday morning 💰 $9 per child with a free adult 🤸🏻‍♀️ 5yrs and under with siblings under 12 months free 🍎 Upstairs area where you can watch and bring along a lunch box They also do Kindy Gym and after school gymnastics classes.
