1) District 1 in Ho Chi Minh City
• too central, walkable, saved me SO much money on transportation
• too close to fun landmarks! (Ben Thanh, Nguyen Hue, Opera House)
• endless cafés, bars, shopping, massages :) (District 2 aka Thao Dien is also such a boringgg area with too many cool, upscale restaurants, international foods and exciting night life!) 2) My Khe Beach/An Thuong in Da Nang
• too close to the beautiful beach
• ugh! such lively culture, cute cafés, nightlife and gyms 
• able to do a fun day trip to Hoi An (also son tra peninsula was too prettyyy for me, so close to city center and an thuong was toooo local) 3) Long Beach (Duong Dong) in Phu Quoc
• so close to airport it saved me money
• stunning beachfront resorts + budget stays, yuck!
• too easy to access night market, tours nearby, and explore the island 4) City Center / Xuan Huong Lake in Da Lat
• too nice climate, walkable
• the cafés, night market, and view was toooo stunning to look at
