My corner of the internet isn’t for everyone. It’s for the woman who feels the tug in her spirit that there is a higher way to mother, to birth, and to live than what the “System” offers. If you feel the tug, say hello 👋 in the comments and follow along to reclaim your birth, your health, and your home. #painfreechildbirth #naturalbirth #physiologicalbirth #homebirth #biblicalmotherhood

I’ll say it a million times… there is nothing physiologic about pushing your air breathing baby out into water. I think it’s ludicrous at best. 🤪 My placenta had to abrupt in order for my baby to emerge because she was wrapped so tightly in her cord. That means that she was ready and needing oxygen the moment her head emerged. I shudder to think about what would have happened had my birth been in water… (I would never 🫣 but, what if?) The water would have disconnected me from the urgency to push her out quickly. Would she have survived a prolonged period of her placenta abrupting? Would she have attempted to take that needed breath under water or could she have survived prolonged hypoxia as she waited to be fully born and lifted from the water. This is the nuance that those who rally around water birth are missing. Yes, many babies manage to survive the changes in birth physiology as they are born in water—but some babies will not be able to survive that. For some births, it will alter things more than that particular birth can withstand, and that may equal a fatality for a baby or for a mother. This is why it matters that we keep birth within the realm of connected physiology. This is why it matters that air-breathing mammals are born into air. I find this so truly exquisite and humbling. In a matter of hours, estrogen and progesterone drop from the highest levels your body has ever known. Your brain begins rewiring. Your nervous system is wide open. And we call this recovery~ and I get that ~ but recovery dismisses the intelligence of an entire being : soul, body, spirit moving through a miracle. It marks an activation to initiate the birth of the mother. The experience isn’t random…. You are being reorganized. And how you are held, shapes the passage through this memorizing time … ! This is what Motherland is for. #postpartum #sacredpostpartum #motherhood #physiologicalbirth #consciousmotherhood
Pregnancy in America has become a data collection project. More scans. More measurements. More predictions about what might go wrong. And more and more fear. But here’s the uncomfortable question: If all this surveillance is the answer… why haven’t outcomes dramatically improved? Because many of these tools are estimates, not facts. Ultrasound weight guesses can be off by a pound or more. Fluid measurements change throughout the day. Growth scans can depend on who’s doing them Yet these numbers often get treated like prophecies. And suddenly a normal pregnancy becomes a “problem.” and now we have fear where there was trust, and interventions where they might not have been wanted or warranted. All because of someone’s guess Here’s the truth that physiology keeps proving: ✨ Healthy mother + healthy baby usually equals a healthy birth. Complications exist. They deserve real care when they actually happen. But in physiological birth, healthy mom and baby are the rule, not the exception. Not everything needs to be predicted, managed, or controlled. our compulsion to do this provides us a sense of security but that sense of security is often false. Sometimes the most radical thing we can do is trust the body that built the baby without any instruction sheet. Ever been told something alarming during pregnancy that later turned out to be nothing? Well. We have some news. 🫣✝️🙏 God has decided I should have another baby AT 44 😝💃🏻 it was a shock and surprise to us.... took me a minute to wrap my head around the fact that we are doing this AGAIN....Get ready for all the fun "pregnant at 44" and funny "geriatric" content! I literally gave all baby stuff away. Like EVERYTHING 🤣 We thought we were done... but the Lord had other plans for us. 🥰 If any brands want to help us "re stock" items I would love to collaborate! 🙏We are waiting to find out gender until birth. I'm so excited for this journey again. Let's goooooo! #pregnantover40 #physiologicalbirth #empoweredbirth #faithoverfear
We won’t teach you to hold your breath… Force your chin to your chest… Lay flat on your back… And push until you’re completely exhausted. That’s not how birth was designed to work. Instead… we teach HypnoBirthing. How to breathe your baby down… How to make space for your baby… How to relax your pelvic floor instead of fighting it… How to move, listen to your body, and trust your intuition as your baby descends. Birth doesn’t have to be forced to be powerful. When you work with your body instead of against it… everything changes. If you want to learn how to birth with confidence, calm, and connection… Comment “CLASS” 🤍 #hypnobirthing #physiologicalbirth #empoweredbirth #birtheducation #birthwithoutfear
