Our favourite genre of woman? The one who’s unapologetically herself. Some people leave you inspired. Others leave you questioning the way we’ve always looked at womanhood. At the Zydus Pinkathon, we met Geet, who was running a half marathon at 65+. We asked her what brought her here. She smiled and said something that stopped us in our tracks: ”I’m not just a mother. I’m not just a daughter-in-law. I’m Geeta.” It wasn’t just an introduction. It was a lifetime of rediscovering herself. Geeta told us that she’s finally living for herself. After years of showing up for everyone around her, she’s now making time for the woman behind all the roles she’s carried. She wasn’t speaking with regret, she was speaking with pride. With confidence. With the kind of self-assurance that’s impossible to ignore. Listening to her, we couldn’t help but wonder... How many women spend their lives being known as someone’s mother, someone’s wife, someone’s daughter, someone’s daughter-in-law—before they’re simply known as themselves? At Sirona, we believe every woman deserves the freedom to choose herself without guilt. To chase a dream, run a marathon, pick up a new hobby, travel, rest, laugh a little louder or simply say, ”This is who I am.” Thank you, Geeta, for reminding us that identity isn’t something we lose.
