Pixelmator pro edits are insanely cool 😮💨
Apple just brought Pixelmator Pro to iPad and the editing possibilities are INSANE.
Here’s how to create this aesthetic outline edit step by step on iPad 👇
✨ STEP-BY-STEP PIXELMATOR PRO iPAD EDIT ✨
Step 1:
Open Pixelmator Pro on your iPad and import the photo you want to edit.
Step 2:
Duplicate the same photo and add it as a new layer.
Step 3:
On the top layer, remove the background using Pixelmator Pro’s background removal tool.
Step 4:
Align the cut-out layer perfectly over the original image.
Step 5:
Tap on the Brush icon (Style) → toggle Stroke ON.
Step 6:
Go to Pattern → tap Choose → select a pattern image from your Photos app.
(Pro tip: Download patterns from Pinterest or create one using Apple Intelligence 🤯)
Step 7:
Adjust the stroke width until it looks just right — thin, bold, or dramatic ✨
And that’s it! Such a clean, modern edit straight from your iPad 🔥

Apple Creator Studio just launched today 😍 And I’m having a blast now that Pixelmator Pro is on iPad. I have to know your thoughts though. Is this the move? 👩🏻💻
If you want to see my full thoughts and my workflow using the entire suite, head over to YouTube or use the link in my bio — I launched a video all about it!
Digital journaling updates✨
I’ve been editing my journaling photos on iPad for years.🫧
Recently switched to the new iPad Air (M5) and honestly… it feels so much smoother.☕️🤫
I used to jump between apps like Lightroom and Procreate just to edit one photo.
.
Now I can do everything in Pixelmator Pro — from quick ML Enhance to fine adjustments & doodling, all in one app💁🏼♀️✨
And with Apple Pencil Pro, the whole process just feels a lot more natural.
I didn’t expect such a small change to make such a big difference🤎
