Happy Accident Day!🍾🎉
I had my accident on the ski lift on 01.01.2005. I went to the other side of the lift and let myself be pulled down by the bars. My jacket got caught on the rope and I couldn’t get it away. It pulled me around the pulley at the bottom and destroyed all the nerves in my left arm. After several operations, I now have limited movement in my arm again. Aesthetically, my left arm is anything but the ideal of beauty and it is also less than ideal in practical terms. Nevertheless, I like my limitation and think that it has enriched my life and given me a different perspective on life. The whole story has made me stronger and has changed my character in a positive way (I think). Nowadays I work as a ski instructor (@lenksportundevents ) and am a professional para snowboarder (@swiss_parasnowboard ). I believe that my limitation makes my life more interesting and that I can inspire others because of it. Today, I see everything as a gift and am grateful that I can live this life.

🤷🏼♀️ Ist nicht einfach zu verstehen.
Doch mit einer inkompletten Querschnittlähmung tatsächlich möglich. 🫶🏻
