I think one of the most important things you can do for your journaling habit is to find what works best for you. For me, it’s not writing daily about my thoughts and feelings. Instead, it’s about writing things I’ve learned, heard, experienced, and need to remember.
I’ve called these notebooks “gray matter” in the past and they used to live in pocket notebooks (which I’m starting to miss a lot). I’ve been using the weekly section of my Hobonichi cousin as a replacement and loving what I’ve been adding to it.
I’m not sure if this is the system that will work for me, but it’s working for now. Who knows I’ll probably be back in a pocket notebook again. Anyway, another journal ramble. Can anyone relate?
