Two Royally Rare Postboxes, East Newcastle, North East England: These two pillar boxes exceptionally rare. One, Penfold hexagonal in design, has the cipher of Victoria, whereas the other wears the cipher of the controversial Edward VIII.

Hidden on Fitz-George Avenue in London, this Royal Mail postbox has been slowly swallowed by a tree. Locals have named it the ‘postbox-eating tree’, and to be fair, it looks like something straight out of a fairytale!
