and it isn’t raining..? 😂 The Lamborghini Countach. A car so aggressively, so defiantly extraordinary that when Bertone’s Marcello Gandini first put pencil to paper, one can only assume he briefly considered the laws of physics before deciding they were largely optional. Those razor sharp wedge lines, that impossibly low roofline, and those vertical scissor doors that swing upward like the wings of something that should not exist outside of a twelve year old’s imagination. This is not a car that asks for your attention. It simply takes it, without apology and without negotiation. Beneath that outrageous exterior sits a naturally aspirated V12 engine, displacing 5.2 litres in its later LP5000 QV form, producing 455 horsepower and a mechanical soundtrack so visceral, so completely unbothered by refinement, that it borders on confrontational. The cabin itself is a masterclass in purposeful discomfort. Visibility is essentially theoretical, the seating position is somewhere between racing driver and medieval punishment, and the gearbox demands to be treated with both respect and a degree of physical commitment. And yet nobody who has ever sat inside a Countach has ever wanted to be anywhere else. What the Countach represents above all else is a moment in automotive history where a manufacturer looked at every convention, every sensibility, every reasonable expectation of what a road car should be, and simply walked away from all of it. It became the poster on a million bedroom walls not because it was the most refined or the most practical but because it was the most extraordinary vision of what a car could dare to be. Decades on, the Countach remains exactly what it always was. Completely and utterly irreplaceable. #LamborghiniCountach #Lamborghini #ClassicLamborghini #ItalianExotics #80sSupercar #VintageSupercar #LamborghiniV12 #RetroSupercar #DreamCar #Lamborghini80s
The Lamborghini Countach didn’t follow design rules... it erased them. Sharp angles, scissor doors, and a V12 mounted behind the driver turned it into a moving concept car. It wasn’t just about speed; it was about presence, drama, and redefining what a supercar should look and feel like. Some cars evolve design. Others reset it entirely. Would you take the Countach over modern supercars? . #LamborghiniCountach #Countach #Lamborghini #V12Supercar #ItalianExotics #80sSupercars #rivetto

😭 Seeing a Lamborghini Countach perched on its “skinny” spare tire is the ultimate automotive comedy of errors, highlighting the absurdity of 1980s supercar engineering. While the car usually commands the road with massive 345mm rear tires, the emergency spare looks hilariously like a bicycle wheel lost in a cavernous wheel well. This dramatic contrast exists because the car’s iconic wide-body design was never meant to accommodate the proportions of a standard utility wheel. Beyond the visual humor, using the spare is a logistical nightmare since the giant flat tire it replaces is too large to fit anywhere in the car but the passenger’s lap. If you were stranded in a vintage supercar, would you rather wait for a flatbed or brave the drive on that tiny toothpick of a tire? What are your thoughts? 🤔💭 ( Media: @b22hundred ) #lamborghini #lamborghinidiablo #diablo #classiccar #cars
How did I never know this
Why is this here?? 💀
