Our baby was born five weeks premature. When we finally got him home, we took him out to meet our friends but the reaction from other people was wild. It made me think about how lonely life can be for some people, and how new life can be like holding up a mirror. My son has his whole life ahead of him, yet people were already writing his story through theirs. I wrote a song about it called Baby in a Bar.
