Wish we didn’t have to keep saying this. đŸ€Šâ€â™€ïž Hiding palm oil is irresponsible and selfish, but just about every brand that uses palm oil does not disclose it. The vast majority of cleaning, body care, shampoo, conditioner, and cosmetics rely on palm oil-derived ingredients. But, until the brands are courageous enough to talk about it, consumers remain in the dark and unable to vote with our purchasing power. Meanwhile, the precious carbon sink forests of Indonesia and Malaysia are being decimated, causing global warming and the extinction of orangutans, tigers and elephants! The demand for palm oil is growing, not slowing. The big players are not changing how they do things because their profits rely on cheap and easy palm oil or petroleum-derived surfactants, emulsifiers, and glycerine. So brands just say they use coconut derived surfactants or ‘sustainable’ palm oil, when they are not able to prove it. THE SOLUTION? We get that it’s very hard to identify and avoid palm oil. That’s why it’s been difficult to find a liquid laundry detergent to stock at Biome. đŸ„ŁWe recommend getting back to basics and avoiding complicated chemical names. Look for recognisable ingredients grown or produced in Australia. 👇Also, reduce consumption and demand on resources. E.g. Don’t buy a cheap lipstick just because you need a new colour for an outfit. That cheap 💄 is fully palm oil! 🍃Support brands who are open about trying different ways to make products without palm oil. Unfortunately, you cannot trust all brands that say they are palm oil free as they don’t seem to realise themselves where it hides! đŸ«§NEW LAUNDRY BAR 🙌😍😁 At Biome, we have created a 100% palm oil free liquid laundry concentrate bar that is launching this Wednesday! Can’t wait to share it with you. - Tracey
Adding #protease to #poultry_diets can also reduce feed costs and environmental impact by speeding up the breakdown of proteins nto nutrients When choosing a protease feed enzyme, factors to consider include the source of the enzyme, the activity level, the stability, the compatibility with other feed additives, and the cost
Are your "toxins" hiding in a protein coat? Ever feel like your body is holding onto things it should not? When our bodies encounter artificial substances they don't recognize, they have a clever (but frustrating) defense mechanism: they wrap those "toxins" in fat or even a coat of protein to protect you. That’s where Delicate Detox comes in. Unlike those harsh kits that keep you "chained to the toilet" for days, this is a gentle, protease-based approach. What’s a Protease? It’s a specialized enzyme that breaks down proteins. By targeting those protein coatings, it helps your body naturally process and eliminate what doesn’t belong—all at the bloodstream level, without the "emergency" bathroom runs. Gentle. Effective. Science-backed. High-fat meals like keto can challenge digestion. Lipase and protease enzymes enhance fat and protein breakdown, helping you feel comfortable and nourished. #keto #ketodiet #diet #houstonenzymes #lipase #protease #digestivesupport #enzymes
Holiday feasting got you feeling stuffed and bloated? 👀 Trying to up your protein intake, but just can’t get it all down without feeling uncomfortably full?  💡Digestive enzymes are the catalysts for speeding up the digestive process of transforming food into functional energy. They work by breaking down the larger molecules found in macronutrients into smaller, more easily absorbed molecules.   They are naturally produced by the salivary glands, as well as the cells lining our stomach, pancreas, and small intestines. Digestive enzymes are also found in a number of foods, including pineapples, mangos, raw honey, and fermented foods like sauerkraut and kimchi.  ⚠Aging, as well as certain diseases and disorders, can lead to a decline or deficiency in the production of these enzymes.  While consuming some of the foods above may help, supplemental digestive enzymes are often a more targeted and potent method of getting the specific enzymes one needs to aid the digestion of large meals or certain trouble foods When choosing a supplement, you’ll likely find enzymes that break down into 4 major categories: 👉Protease: Breaks down proteins 👉Lipase: Breaks down lipids (fats) 👉Amylase: Breaks down carbs 👉Lactase: Breaks down lactose (dairy sugar)  There are numerous enzymes that fall under each of the 4 categories above, and each have specific jobs and assignments in the digestive process Similar to probiotics, digestive enzyme products will often be labeled based on the foods they target (gluten, dairy, protein, etc).  They can be taken on a daily basis, or periodically before particularly heavy meals or meals containing trouble foods. The results? Less indigestion, less bloating, better regularity, and better overall nutrient absorption. ✅ AND THAT’S WHAT SUPP

Getting all the final calculations worked out with citric acid and alkali solutions. @rust.brandon helping @comanchecompost understand the intricacies of the science. Raising pH precipitates humins from humic and fulvic acids. Separate with liquids with centrifuge. Then take that solutions’s pH down to 1-2 and you precipitate humic acids from solution leaving fulvic behind. #fulvicacid #humicacid #humins #compostextract #auxins #indole3aceticacid #gibberillins #protease
Research shows that many autistic individuals are not able adequately to digest carbs and proteins due to low enzyme activity, causing neurological and other symptoms. Oral enzyme supplements act like helpers in the GI breaking down food to improve nutrient absorption without interfering with other systems. This may ease GI issues and promote calmer behaviours. #worldmentalhealthday #mentalhealth #gutbrainaxis #autism #ADHD #guthealth #enzymes #protease #lipase #serrapeptase #lactase #amylase #cellulase #enzymescience #petacohen
