I'm blown away! Idk why I love this quantum dot filament from @protopasta so much - I'm geeking out over the potentials. In this video, I demonstrate what happens when 4 quantum dot filaments are printed over each other, and how that changes the overall effect. I was also pretty pleased with the invisible notes that are able to be revealed when UV light is involved, after using the F2 Ultra UV from @xtool.official I am still dialing in laser settings to achieve the ideal results, but I'm very hopeful for some awesome creations!

Ok y'all I gotta take a break. My mind is exploding right now after the results of pairing a .2mm thick sheet of 3D printed green Quantum Dot filament from @protopasta and the @xtool.official F2 Ultra UV. Using 10% power, 1500mm/s speed and 800 lines per centimeter, we are able to 100% effectively hide a message. Only by using a UV light can we see the hidden note. We can also see that the holographic effect imparted by the Inception P-FLAT sheet has not been effected by the laser, at all. Ok I lied I have more ideas now 😅 What do you think of this filament?

I LOVE trying new filament, especially when it's as cool as this one. This is Quantum Dot filament from @protopasta that was released to their Endless Exploration subscribers. It absorbs UV light and reflects it as different color, many times stronger. They will have a limited stock at RMRRF next weekend, and it should be available for retail purchase online near the beginning of May. I was testing out a new smooth build plate for the @snapmakerinc U1 and it didn't dissapoint, either (except my first print when I didn't clean it 😅). The panels are printed 1 layer tall at a .2mm layer height. I'm queuing up some fabric prints now that I have all 4 colors 🥰

Here we got this new metal filament from @protopasta. They have different types of metal filament (steel, cooper, stainless, brass) all mixed with PLA for easy print. The one we have here for testing is stainless steel.
