Built with y-20 and poly foam and covered F3 puppet fleece from @dharmatradingco , which was custom dyed here in the WNP workshop!

From foam to life: Meet the Granny puppet! 👵✨
I couldn’t wait to show you the evolution of this character. In this video, you can see the whole process:
1️⃣ Sculpting the foam structure (the moment her soul is born).
2️⃣ Patterning and covering her in fleece, focusing on every wrinkle and expression.
3️⃣ And finally... a technical challenge! For the first time, I created her hairstyle using faux fur shaped with PVA glue.
Stick with me until the very last second of the video, because the final result—with her hair and glasses—completely changes her personality! 👓
⚠️ Small spoiler: Even though she’s ready to start telling stories, she’ll have to rest on the shelf for a little while. A new commission has knocked on my door: a very feisty farmer fox that needs to take priority! 🦊🌾

Packing your merch orders in the workshop and suddenly realised I was being supervised… by not one, but two puppets I made of my own mum.
This was the very first version — glue gun, scraps, coffee table engineering, and questionable mechanics. Then came the upgraded “proper puppet”… and now I’m already planning the next build.
Progress, apparently, is measured in increasingly ambitious puppets.
