As a parent, there are moments you never forget. Watching my son laugh, hug people, and simply be himself was the greatest birthday gift I could’ve asked for. I would’ve given anything to feel that free when I was fifteen. I hope every kid finds a place where they can become more of who they already are. ❤️ #queerparenting #lgbtqfamily #belonging #findinghome #representationmatters
My 703rd Reel: The Journey Grief, healing, and celebration — especially during the holiday season — can definitely make one connect to a lot of emotions and reflect about the journey of life. While I know this IG trend may be cheesy to some, I actually appreciate it tremendously. Because choices we make in our younger years will change the trajectory of our lives. If I hadn’t gone on that one date, I undoubtedly wouldn’t have the family I have today. With that being said, people come and go in your life. Some people leave too soon or unexpectedly, while others stay the entire ride. And while time makes us bolder and children get older, I have learned to accept and even celebrate that I am indeed getting older too. So thanks to those who have been on this journey with me- whether you stayed a season or are a series regular, you have played an incredible role in my life. #GayDads #QueerParenting #Gay

We don’t have “Pride month” in Pok Pok because… We have 12 of them! 🌈💙 Of course, we love that June gives us even more reason to celebrate with you and dial up the joy. 🥳 From day 1, our mission has been to create an app that represents the beautiful diversity of the world we live in. A space where everyone feels welcome! 🌎 This means including a spectrum of identities and especially those of the 2SLGBTQIA+ community whose lack of representation leads to more harm. Everyone deserves to feel seen, valued, free to express their true self and love who they love. 🤗 Happy Pride from the whole team at Pok Pok! Celebrate in the app now by joining the festivities in Town, finding your Pride look in Dress-Up, perusing the Shops, and jamming to our collection of tunes in Radio! 🎶 P.S. Any negative comments will be removed as our team and community’s well-being will always be the top priority. There is simply nothing to debate. 🙏🏻 . . . #kidsapp #lgbtq🌈 #pridemonth #queerpride #twomoms #twodads #lgbtqcommunity #loveislove #transisbeautiful #itgetsbetter #lgbtqfamily #queerparenting #representationmatters
Every child deserves to grow up feeling safe, loved, and seen — including LGBTQ+ kids. 🏳️‍🌈💛 As a queer parent, I know how powerful family and community support can be. It shapes confidence. It builds resilience. It literally saves lives. If you’re a parent of an LGBTQ+ child (or you're just beginning to understand what that means), @pflag is here to walk with you. They offer resources, support groups, and events that meet you with compassion, not judgment. You don’t have to have all the answers — just a willingness to show up with love. ❤️ Let’s raise a generation that doesn’t have to heal from their childhood. Let’s raise them in love. 💬✨ If you’re looking to connect, exchange experiences, and to support one another in real time, check out the PFLAG National Online Community at the link in my bio for resources and to connect online and in-person. #Sponsored #PFLAGCommunity #PFLAG #LGBTQFamily #QueerParenting #ProtectTransKids #LGBTQSupport #LoveMakesAFamily #Pride365 #EverydayPride #GaysWithKids #BlakeAndMatthew In partnership with @pflag
I didn’t become a parent by becoming smaller. I became one by becoming more honest. As a drag dad, I’ve learnt this the hard way: my child doesn’t need me to fit into a box, soften my voice, hide my wigs, or explain myself away. They need truth. They need to see a parent who lives fully, loves loudly, and shows up exactly as they are. When my child watches me get into drag, they’re not seeing “performance.” They’re seeing courage. They’re learning that joy is not something you ask permission for. That identity is not a phase. That love doesn’t come with conditions. Parenting, for me, is not about raising a child who blends in. It’s about raising a child who feels safe enough to exist. And if my authenticity becomes their normal, then I know I’m doing something right. This is what being a drag dad means to me. Not confusion. Not chaos. But clarity, honesty, and a home where no one has to pretend. ✨ #DragDad #QueerParenting #AuthenticParenting #ChosenFamily #RaisingWithPride

“I still remember the day my wife Raji took the pregnancy test and it read ‘positive.’ I was so happy that day. I was going to be a DAD! We went to the doctors, got tests done, but instantly, a fear crept in… You see, I’m a bisexual man and a drag queen. And although my family and circle accepts me, the world still doesn’t understand. I thought ‘Would I be a good father?’ ‘Will I be able to protect my kid?’ ‘Will my kid accept me?’ And when I began to spiral, Raji stepped in with her, ‘You’ll be a great dad, I know it!’ My friends and family had my back as well. And when a friend reminded me, ‘You can create the change’ my fears changed into conviction… a conviction to create a safer place for my kid, a conviction to raise a decent kid and conviction to be the best dad to my kid. And months later when I first laid eyes on my Abhi… I felt as if the world had moved, I was holding a part of me and it was the happiest moment of my life. I could still feel my fears lurking around, but doing right by my little one became my first priority. After that we spent months thinking ‘Will Abhi like this?’ and ‘Lets buy this toy for Abhi’ and ‘Abhi’s doctor said this.’ And through it I’ve realised, although some of my fears were valid, most of them were irrational. But you know, people have a very different sense of queer parents and their kids. For some reason people think it’s a different experience. But what do I tell you? Initially, we couldn’t tell if it was day or night as we waited for Abhi to fall asleep or as we were woken up by Abhi’s cries! And the last few months it’s been us saying, ‘Abhi, say Nanna’ and ‘Abhi, say Ammaa!’ It’s been months of us deliberating what Abhi can and can not watch on TV. Isn’t it the same with all parents though? But you know, on days when someone asks me, ‘Does your kid not get confused between your two personas?’ I feel maybe we are different from heterosexual parents. Because we’re raising Abhi to see beyond clothes, because we are raising Abhi to be inclusive of all irrespective of caste, creed and gender, because we are teaching Abhi that the meaning of life is… love and compassion!” #PrideMonth
They said drag queens don’t find love — but we did.❤️ From nervous glances at a family function to raising a child together, our journey is all about authenticity, acceptance, and joy. Through judgement and noise, we found each other — and chose love. 🌈 If you don’t get our love, that’s okay. Because we do. #LoveIsLove” ~ Patruni Chidananda Sastry @sas3dancingfeet #DragQueenLove #LGBTQIAStories #QueerParenting #LoveIsLove #IndianQueerVoices #PrideEveryday #inspiring [Drag Queen Love, LGBTQIA Stories, Queer Parenting In India, Gender Fluid Identity, Pride Stories India]
INTERVIEW - Céline is about to become a mother, but it’s her wife Nadia who is pregnant. In Love Letters, Alice Douard follows this non-gestational mother as she searches for her place under the gaze of friends, family, and the law, questioning what makes someone a “real” parent.   After premiering earlier this year at Cannes in Critics’ Week, the film is now reaching new audiences, with releases in Belgium on November 19 and Switzerland on November 27.   In our interview, Alice Douard talks about queer parenthood, the fragile feeling of legitimacy, and how love can be both a protection and a battleground. . . . . #queerparenting #homoparenting #queer #LGBTQ
